Carriage Barn Arts Center: Introduction to Copperplate Calligraphy

2 session workshop: Saturdays 9th & 23rd September 10am-1pm
Learn to create beautiful copperplate calligraphy step-by-step in a relaxed and fun environment!
Learn how to create this elegant and classic script from simple strokes and shapes. Participants will break down all the supplies needed, learn basic strokes, upper- and lower-case letters, and how to connect letters and words. Participants will even go mixing different colored inks (including metallics!) and the basics of flourishing your letters for extra flair.
Video recordings of each class will be available for 60 days afterwards allowing you plenty of time to perfect your skills even after the class has ended. It’s the perfect time to learn calligraphy in time for the holidays. Wow your friends and family with gorgeous hand calligraphy cards, gifts tags, place cards and more!
No previous artistic experience is necessary, and all supplies are included.
