On June 2 (raindate June 3), JAM will be throwing The First Annual Rowayton Porch Jam. Sixteen Rowayton homes have generously donated their porches for sixteen bands to play on between 12-4 pm. Bands will be staggered over the course of the afternoon. The organizers encourage all participants to walk, bike and scoot to multiple homes throughout the day and soak up the music to benefit a great cause.
A Bloody Mary Kick Off Party will be held at Pinkney Park for VIP contributors and sponsors. VIPS also receive event swag as well as optional transport from one porch to another. The pre-party begins at 10:30 am.
For those visiting from out of town, parking is available at Old School Field on Rowayton Ave, Rowayton Elementary School and at the town lot behind Sails.
All proceeds from The Jam will go to providing art and music enrichment for inner city youth and the underserved.
