2017 Newcomers Holiday House Tour Dates and Ticket Availability
The Newcomers Club of New Canaan will present the 2017 “Homes for the Holidays“ House Tour on Friday, December 1 and Saturday, December 2. The tour will feature five magnificent homes festively decorated by professional designers. This year Decor by Debbie Propst & One Kings Lane, Design Dot, Krystie Inman & Tracey McCauley, Havilande Whitcomb Design and Ainsley Hayes will decorate these exclusive New Canaan homes, along with the assistance of Newcomers’ volunteers.
Proceeds from the 2-day event go towards supporting a variety of local non-profit organizations in our community. Past recipients include GetAbout, New Canaan Library, Waveny Care Network, and the YMCA to name a few. “The Holiday House Tour is an iconic New Canaan event and a great way to welcome the festive season while giving back to the community,” said Homes for the Holidays Chair Amanda Carter. “The previous Tour donated over $64,000 and this year we hope to raise more. The five participating houses are sure to inspire and delight, so come join us for a fun afternoon on the 2017 Holiday House Tour!”
Tickets can be purchased online for $85 at www.nchousetour.com through Thursday, November 30th. After that, you can purchase tickets day of the tour for $95 at the Roger Sherman Inn (195 Oenoke Ridge, New Canaan).
On November 1st the Holiday House Tour 2017 Steering Committee got in the holiday spirit along with tour sponsors: April Kaynor, Bankwell, Elise Nursery, Jane Beiles, Lilliann August, Moffly Media, Pound Ridge Nursery, and Ring’s End to kick off the start of ticket sales for the December 1st & 2nd tour. Jaffar Tazi, of Jaffar Tazi salon, pledged his support of the Holiday House Tour alongside event Chair Amanda Carter. “Thanks to the support of New Canaan’s local businesses we are able to ensure that this years Homes for the Holidays Tour will be a festive and memorable one,” said the Tour’s Marketing Chair Michelle Jackson. “We look forward to welcoming visitors from southern Connecticut and beyond to experience the spirit of the season here in New Canaan.”
