Come to the Storytime Room and meet a mermaid!

Mermaid Pearl will share her favorite stories, answer your splashiest questions about being a mermaid, and take one-on-one photos with our under-the-sea enthusiasts.

Mermaid Pearl has swam many oceans far and near! She stayed awhile on the shores of the Japanese island of Okinawa from 2020 to 2024 where she co-founded Okinawa Enchantments. Okinawa Enchantments provides family-friendly entertainment to military and local families on Okinawa for kids parties, military-base and beach clean-up events.

Mermaid Pearl (Dana Clark) is a Darien-native with a B.A. in Theatre Arts from WCSU and a well-known yoga instructor in Fairfield County’s wellness community (Westport YMCA, The Angel Cooperative, Yoga 203 & BK Yoga.)

Ages 2 to 6 with a caregiver.
