FACTS ABOUT MLK TO SHARE WITH YOUR KIDS:
- A Baptist minister and scholar, Dr. Martin Luther King was inspired by Ghandi’s peaceful protests.
- His “I Have a Dream” speech focused on the importance of peace, equality and freedom.
- When he received a Nobel Peace Prize at age 35, he was the youngest recipient at that time.
