On September 10th, First County Bank & local children’s book author, Gigi Priebe, will launch her second book with a free giveaway (up to 150 copies) to children and caregivers who stop by the tent. “The Long Way Home,” published by Simon & Schuster for children ages 7 – 10, is #2 in her series, “The Adventures of Henry Whiskers,” which successfully launched in January.
“He’s on a roll,” says Priebe. “His high speed adventures translate into fast-paced reading that appeals to both boys and girls. Henry and I have been enthusiastically received at schools up and down the east coast since book one came out, so I’m particularly excited to launch book two on September 10th right here in my hometown of New Canaan with First County Bank’s book giveaway.” Those who stop by will get to meet Priebe and receive a free, dedicated, signed copy of her book.
Elm Street Books will be offering a raffle. The child who wins the raffle will receive a free author visit to their school (within a 15 mile radius of New Canaan) plus free, signed books for their homeroom, courtesy of First County Bank.
