Down on the Farm is a beloved community event that brings good old-fashioned fun for the entire family to Darien. Many wonderful events are featured at this special event. Rain date is May 28th.
Whole Foods Market will be serving a picnic barbecue lunch. Pony rides, a petting zoo, climb aboard a tractor, “travel to the treetops”, scavenger hunt on the trails, a photo booth, old-fashioned picnic games, face painting and more!
2017 Darien Nature Center Raffle:
Tickets are $10 each and available at the Darien Nature Center.

Grand Prize: $1,000 Gift Certificate for the Party of your dreams for 20 guests in the Gallery of the Darien Nature Center.
The First Prize: Whale Sculpture, by Edgar Breban. Hand-carved, one-of-a-kind piece, stone whale sculpture. Value $400.
The Second Prize: $160 Gift Certificate for a 2 hour public sail on a schooner redeemable at Soundwaters in Stamford.
The Third Prize: Two tickets for a tour redeemable at the Glass House Gallery in New Canaan. Value $120.
The Fourth Prize: Wooden, outdoor birdhouse from the Gardener’s Center and Florist. An excellent choice for nesting wrens! Value $40.
