Maggie Gregory is a School Business Administrator and dedicated educator with over 15 years of experience in working in secondary and higher education. Outside of Fusion, Maggie serves on the board of a non-profit, volunteers as a panelist for local and national webinars on topics such as supporting ADHD and learning differences, has penned articles in regard to supporting parents through difficult windows with their teens, and every now and then can be found as a guest on podcasts speaking on topics including adolescent development and anxiety.
“I feel close and passionate about the work of Smart Kids, it’s aligned in my own core values that all teens can learn. The organization does amazing work in supporting the youth in our community through events, newsletters, and youth achievement awards. We’re fortunate to have a resource like Smart Kids in our area representing the population of kids who need confidence in themselves and a reminder their diagnoses don’t define them,” said Gregory, Gala Honoree.
Minds in Bloom will feature a cocktail reception with music from Norwalk guitarist Glenn Roth, dinner, and silent and live auctions. Sherry Truhlar of Red Apple Auctions will serve as Master of Ceremonies and Auctioneer. A few exciting auction items are: Yankees v. Red Sox summer tickets, dinner in Manhattan and two house seats to the acclaimed Broadway show, The Who’s Tommy, and a guided tour, followed by lunch at one of the most popular exhibitions at the Metropolitan Museum in Manhattan, among other sought after items and experiences. A variety of gift cards to Fairfield and Westchester County restaurants will also be in play during the ever-popular, Live Auction Feeding Frenzy.
