Norwalk Spring Restaurant Week Is Here!

This week from Monday, June 3 through Sunday, June 9, participating Norwalk restaurants are offering special multi-course, price-fixed menus at discounted prices. Visit the website to see their special menus!

Here is some information about each participating restaurant:

Barcelona Wine Bar, located at The Waypointe, 515 West Ave., features a clean and rustic cuisine, with tapas shaped by Mediterranean, Spanish, and South American influences. Nearly 400 wines are featured on the wine list.

B.J. Ryan’s, located at 57 Main St., will make you feel right at home with a fun and cozy pub atmosphere, featuring an award-winning burger selection and delicious pub fare. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the menu truly has something for everyone, along with delicious craft cocktails and an extensive craft beer list.

B.J. Ryan’s BanC House, located at 16 River St., keeps true to the B.J. Ryan’s brand in offering comforting and delicious cuisine. Award-winning barbeque selections are house smoked and the seafood is always fresh, with a daily raw bar featuring local oysters and clams.

B.J. Ryan’s East, located at 1 Cove Ave., is the newest addition to the BJ Ryan’s family in what was the legendary Partner’s Café. It features a variety of Chef Lisa’s specialties, excellent sandwiches, the original Partner’s pizza, loaded salads, and many gluten-free options. Plus, an extensive selection of tasty cocktails, craft beers, bourbons and tequilas.

Black By Demand Specialty Coffee & Catering has a kiosk in the South Norwalk Metro-North train station. They showcase various guest roasters from across the African diaspora, as well as offer amazing treats, including Jamaican coffee lemonade and an assortment of patties such as jerk chicken and salmon. (Note: closed weekends)

Blackstones Steakhouse, located at 181 Main St., prides itself on providing the ultimate guest experience, from the impeccable service, to the extraordinary food and warm ambiance. Blackstones features only the best USDA prime beef, dry-aged for that perfect concentration of taste. Plus, market fresh seafood and raw bar selections, a variety of small plates, a curated wine list, and a spirited bar scene. (Note: closed on Sundays)

Burger Bar, located at 112 Washington St., features 8-ounce burgers made of the best prime beef and other meats, ground in house. If you don’t eat meat, they always have meatless options to select from. And if you don’t want a burger, their bar food is worth drooling over.

Costa Vino, located at 36 Westport Ave., is a wine bar restaurant where culinary artisans have curated a menu that combines the aromatic herbs of the Mediterranean with the lively spices of the Caribbean, creating a symphony of tastes that they say will transport you to sun-drenched shores and breezy islands.

Dry Dock Bar & Grille, located at 215 Main St., is a modern, laid-back space serving a menu of American sandwiches, burgers and pizza. DDGB is committed to bringing unique offerings, while remaining faithful to the 40+ year history of excellence that has made it one of the most popular bar & grilles in Fairfield County.

Greer Southern Table, located at 7 River St., is the spot where owner Greer Fredericks brought her southern cuisine back to Norwalk! Fabulously fresh, locally and southern sourced, lovingly prepared. They call themselves a southern table; a place to enjoy casual yet refined low and high country cuisine, where you’re treated like family.

Haven Hot Chicken, located at 596 Westport Ave., specializes in Nashville hot chicken and cauliflower (“not chicken”) options, in five different spice levels, ranging from no-heat “country” to “Haven” (for the hot head). Menu items include sandwiches, tenders, sliders, and chicken and waffles, and sides like fries, creamy vinegar slaw, garlic-dill pickles, mac and cheese, and banana pudding. $3 from every Restaurant Week meal purchased will be donated to Connecticut Foodshare.

Jacob’s Pickles, located at The SoNo Collection, 100 N. Water St., is where faces light up when the plate arrives; where people feel relaxed and excited to try new and old favorites. This new location includes a large space perfect for hosting events and gatherings, a local Connecticut-centric beer and spirits program, and a delicious food menu full of southern comfort favorites.

Mamma Bella Cucina & Pizzeria, located at 19 N. Water St., is bringing back classic Italian dishes and cocktails with a modern twist. The menu offers a variety of paninis, salads, entrees, pizzas and homemade pastas. A presto!

Mecha Noodle Bar, located at 116 Washington St., serves some of Asia’s most comforting dishes. Among other things, they do riffs on food that can be found in the streets of southeast Asia. Don’t call it “fusion” or a sushi restaurant, there are plenty of those in Connecticut. Mecha is American-Vietnamese-Japanese-Thai-Chinese-Korean-New-England-Momofuku-Totto-and-Ippudo-inspired.

Romanacci Craft Bar & Kitchen, located at 250 Westport Ave., offers all types of “Italian eats & treats,” including homemade pizza, fresh pasta, pastries, and more.

Sabor Ambateño Bakery, located at 1 River St., is Spanish for “Ecuadorian Flavor” (Ambato is a city in Ecuador). The bakery features delicious breads, sweets, hot drinks to warm you up in the winter and refreshing homemade juices for the summer.

Sedona Taphouse, located at The Waypointe, 515 West Ave., is a place to connect with others and enjoy a true craft experience. The made-from-scratch menu is inspired by Southwest cuisine, featuring hand-cut steaks, sustainable seafood selections, and signature house specialties.
