Winter Session of the NCNC After School Program

Registration is NOW OPEN for the Winter Session of the NCNC After School Program which runs from January 2nd – April 12th, 2024.
Perfect for students attending any one of the three New Canaan Public Elementary Schools in grades K-2!
Our program provides students with the opportunity to create hypotheses, conduct experiments, and get ready for some awesome hands-on collaborative learning in the hours immediately following school dismissal. Students will delve into fun and engaging weekly themes while exploring our natural world. Who knows what we will discover!
Just a few of the themes our students will enjoy this winter include:
- Making REAL maple syrup!
- From tapping a tree to collecting sap, and from boiling down to sampling the finished delicious product
- Becoming a nature detective
- Identifying tracks, trails, and signs in the snow and mud
- Meeting live animals from the NCNC animal ambassador collection
