Saturday, 7/1
New Canaan’s Family 4th of July Celebration
5pm at Waveny Park
(Rain dates: 7/2 or 7/8)
Activities will include family picnicking, several gourmet food trucks, kids inflatable bounce houses and live music! Live music will include Mind the Gap from 5:30-7:15 PM, and the Town Band from 7:30-9:15 PM. A spectacular fireworks display is scheduled to start soon thereafter. No dogs, drones, grills, candles, personal fireworks or sparklers.
Sunday, 7/2
The Rowayton Fireworks
9pm – 10pm Bayley Beach
*Non-residents must pay to access Bayley Beach
(Rain date: 7/5)
The Rowayton Fireworks will light up the sky from Bayley Beach on Sunday, July 2nd, beginning at approximately 9:00pm, and lasting approximately 30 minutes. There is a rain date of Wednesday, July 5th.
Monday, 7/3
Norwalk’s Independence Day Concert & Fireworks Show
7pm Calf Pasture Beach
(Rain date: 7/5)
Darik and the Funbags will perform Live Music before and after the fireworks performance. Their main live music show will start at 7:00 PM! Fireworks will begin at 9:00 PM, and then Darik and the Funbags will perform again around 9:45 PM.
Tuesday, 7/4
Darien’s Push-n-Pull Parade
10am (arrive at 9:45am) Parade starts at Darien High School, and it ends at the VFW Post at 205 Noroton Avenue.T
his fun annual tradition will step off at 10:00 AM from Darien High School and march down Noroton Avenue, ending at Darien VFW 6933. Families should arrive at 9:45 AM with their decorated bikes, scooters, wagons, and non-motorized vehicles. Festivities will continue at the VFW. The event is free and open to the public, although there is a suggested donation of $20 per family payable at the VFW Post to help support the post and its headquarters.
