Fredric & Co. salon owners, Connie Hatterman and Janet Montanaro, along with their generous staff who are donating their time, are opening up their salon at 1060 Post Road, Darien on Sunday, May 20 from 1 to 4 p.m. to benefit STAR, Inc., Lighting the Way. The Salon Day for STAR, “Bubbles and Blow-outs,” will offer a STAR Special Hair Blowout for just $30! Men are also welcome to join the fun for a stylish haircut for $30. One hundred percent of the funds raised will be donated to benefit STAR, Inc., Lighting the Way, serving our neighbors who are impacted by intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1952.
Our event hosts Kathy Gogolak, Jane Glassmeyer, Carol Donegan Lauren Stisser, Mackenzie Saverine, Katherine Grambling, Martha Spiegel, Barbara Fitzpatrick and Katie Banzhaf, invite the public to sip Perrier or Prosecco (courtesy of Nicholas Roberts Wines) and savor sweet meringues (courtesy of Kirby & Co.)

STAR, Inc., Lighting the Way is a not–for-profit organization established in 1952 to serve individuals of all ages who have intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as providing support services to their families.
