Give Back in 2024! - New Canaan & Darien Moms

To kick off 2024, consider giving back to local organizations. In this guide, you’ll find options to volunteer and donate your time.

Since 1951, The Community Fund of Darien has granted over $27,000,000 to local nonprofits assisting our neighbors in Darien, Stamford, and Norwalk with basic needs.

The Darien Foundation provides grants for technology and capital initiatives which create opportunity for our youth, support our town’s safety and security, and enhance the overall quality of life in Darien.

The mission of the Darien Nature Center is to “Inspire passion and respect for the natural world through nature education, hands-on experiences with nature, and environmental action and stewardship.”

The Depot of Darien supports the well-being of our youth by giving them opportunities to connect, grow and give back.

After delivering over 2.5 Million meals, Filling in the Blanks continues its mission of fighting childhood hunger by providing children in need with weekend meals. Serving 5,500+ children in the weekend meal program, providing 5 in-school pantries, and the launch of the mobile food pantry “Fresh Food on the Move,” this organization meets the growing needs of children and families in the community. Please consider making a year-end gift to Filling in the Blanks.
