The Pop Up Park Committee, along with the First Selectman, town officials, local business owners and resident volunteers, is thrilled to announce the grand re-opening of the popular Pop Up Park!
The Pop Up Park will be in place continually from August 5th through August 28th at the intersection of South Avenue and Elm Street. A full schedule of activities and events will be listed on the New Canaan Pop Up Park Facebook page as well as a listing on the NC Chamber of Commerce website (newcanaanchamber.com). Friday, August 5th at 4:15 the YMCA will be hosting an “Opening Olympic 2016 Ceremony” with a parade, face painting and arts and crafts as well as Olympic medals for all from 5PM-7PM.
Throughout the three-week period there will be story hours and ice cream, live music on Thursdays from 6:30-8:30 sponsored by New Canaan Music, mini golf, family game day, All Out for Autism Race sponsored by New Balance and the YMCA, talent shows, Young Entrepreneur fair and many other exciting and interactive fun brought to you by the parent group, NCP4Kids.
