All the proceeds from the event will benefit the youth of Grassroots.

Jon DeLuca Youth Tennis Memorial Fund Founder and father to the late Jon, Al DeLuca said, “On behalf of the Jon DeLuca Youth Tennis Memorial Fund, we are honored to sponsor this wonderful event during Jon’s birth month, around what would have been his 50th birthday. Jon was passionate about his kids, his work, youth development and Grassroots.”

Added Director of Tennis David Kimani, “Every year, this event brings together area kids, while raising awareness for the Grassroots program. Grassroots helps propel our youth forward so that they can create their own paths by learning through the discipline of the sport of tennis. Together with the education programming, the sky is the limit for our youngsters.” He continued, “We can’t wait to see all the kids come out for a fun day of tennis and camaraderie.”

After matches are played, the winning doubles team in each division will play in the finals at Grassroots tennis courts. Players and spectators are invited to enjoy pizza and refreshments and winners will take home trophies and t-shirts.
