In order to participate you need to donate to the New Canaan Food Pantry in one of three ways:
1) Head to Walter Stewart’s Market and purchase a $20 pre-set donation bag that will be delivered directly to the Food Pantry. Present your receipt the night of the Stroll
2) Purchase the Walter Stewart’s Market $20 pre- packaged bag the night of the Stroll in front of the Movie Theater on Elm Street. Cash or Check only.
3) Bring a bag of food from your own pantry. Retail value of your donation should be close to $20. Acceptable donations include: canned soup, coffee, tea, tuna, peanut butter, rice, applesauce, pasta, tomato sauce, breakfast cereal, juice boxes. No opened or expired food will be accepted
Once you have donated you will be handed a Map which will highlight 20 different stores and restaurants who will open their doors and share food and drink samples. After visiting at least 12 of the stores on the map you will be entered to win prizes from local businesses! Festive activities and culinary delights will be available at each of the participating venues throughout downtown New Canaan, promising to entertain local residents and guests who come to New Canaan to shop, dine and meet up with friends.
