KC 2020 is a two-day virtual convention for and about children who want to make a positive social impact in their community.
On October 17 and 18, join Stepping Stones Museum for Children and its partners, the Connecticut State Department of Education, Literacy How and Norwalk Public Schools for the inaugural KC 2020 virtual kids convention. KC 2020 will give children, families and classrooms across the US a global platform to talk about their place in the world and dreams for the future.
KC 2020 experiences include global activism and art experiences from children and educators in Japan, Kenya and Brazil; Q&A sessions with an impressive lineup of youth activists; youth action club info from Save the Children; social emotional learning exercises from SocialEyes Together author Robin Fox; a special presentation from “Frieda B.” children’s book author Renata Bowers; healthy food presentations by Cooking Matters and Norwalk Community College culinary professor, Chef Jeff Trombetta, plus so much more!
