Hawley Lane Shoes invites the Connecticut community to join their Kidz4Kidz “Walk A Mile In Their Shoes” Walkathon to be held on Saturday, June 10th, 2017 from 10a.m. to 12p.m. at Norwalk High School. Kidz4Kidz is an organization created by Hawley Lane Shoes to encourage kids to help other kids in need by using their creativity, energy and imagination to find ways to fundraise. All proceeds for the event will go directly towards funding camp scholarships.
The event is super family friendly. There will be a fun warm-up, DJ, music and food trucks, and more!
Some highlights of the Kidz4Kidz event will include:
- All registered walkers will receive a free Kidz4Kidz t-shirt.
- Every registered walker is invited to My Three Sons Family Center in Norwalk, CT from 1p.m. to 3p.m. for a free game of Black Light Miniature Golf. Next door, The Market Bistro and Bar will serve complimentary pizzas for kids, and refreshments for parents for participating.
- A Kidz4Kidz Concert featuring pop singer/song writers Taylor Felt and Kristina Lachaga! Additional performers will include Dante Melucci, who has recently performed on Broadway in theSchool of Rock: The Musical, and Ethan Walmark, singer, keyboardist and YouTube sensation. Free ice cream will be given out to all participants by Saugatuck Sweets.
