Waveny House will have a special visit from the Easter Bunny for a meet-and-greet with children. Events will include face painting, bunny meet-and-greet, and coloring for children. Breakfast snacks will be served for parents and children. Each child will receive a goodie bag from the Easter Bunny. One adult must accompany each family of children registered. The event is open to New Canaan Residents only. Parents, don’t forget to bring a camera. Registration will begin on February 1st both online and at the Recreation Department Office.
Children and parents must register – $7 per person, seating is limited.

Join SM&NC for a NEW Easter Egg Adventure this year on their Wheels in the Woods trail. A maximum of 25 kids per session ensures a fun, safe event for all!
They will start with the hunt on their trails where kids can gather eggs in the woods, then head to the Overbrook Nature Center, where the kids will get to meet some live animals and create a great craft! Kids will turn in their found eggs for a goody bag! Program will run rain or shine (rain plan will be in Great Hall). This program will take the place of the Heckscher Farm Egg Hunt for 2018. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required.

This magical experience takes place on the historic property and sprawling grounds of Waveny Park. Children will hunt for the over 10,000 eggs and enjoy live entertainment, bounce houses, bunny ears, face painting, photo opportunities with Mr. & Mrs. Bunny and lots and lots of cupcakes! The event begins at 9:00am and hunt is at 10:15.
In the event of inclement weather the Easter Egg Hunt will take place on the same day and time at New Canaan High School.

Easter Cupcake Decorating Workshop & Party @ Carriage Barn Arts Center

Drop of your kids for Easter Treats and creative fun with friends.
During the workshop kids will receive step by step hands on instruction in creating 4 custom Easter Cupcake designs.
When the cupcakes are completed the kids will use a collection of supplies to package each treat individually for gift giving.
Come have fun and make treats for mom, dad, sibliings, teachers and friends.

Perfect for children, ages 2-10, our egg hunts are designed for smaller groups (approximately 25 per hunt) and, in addition to the hunt, include an egg & spoon obstacle course and meet & greet with our baby chicks & bunny rabbits. Just BYOB (bring your own basket) for collecting eggs (which contain nature-themed prizes and nut-free sweets).

Gather your Easter baskets and come out for an Easter Egg Hunt on the front lawn of the DCA! This annual event is a great way for children to get into the spirit of the holiday, and to meet many new friends. Please come early, as the Easter Egg Hunt starts at 10:00 am sharp and takes only a few minutes. A special appearance by the Easter Bunny makes this a wonderful morning so make sure to bring your camera.
Special price: $20 per car
In the event of inclement weather, a cancellation of the egg hunt will be announced on the DCA website, e-blast and voicemail greeting that morning.

RCA Easter Egg Hunt

Location: Rowayton Community Center
Hop on over to the Community Center, rain or shine, to meet the Easter Bunny and participate in RCA’s annual Easter Egg Hunt. Parents, please drop off six plastic eggs filled with candy, snacks or coins for each participating child to Paul Curtin at 11 Burchard Lane on Friday, March 30 between 12 noon and 8:00pm. Eggs may also be dropped off at the Community Center field before 9:30am on the day of the hunt.
