My family and I have lived here for three years. We love that it’s a small town. New Canaan is extremely family friendly. Everyone is very supportive of each other and the community as a whole. New Canaan’s charming downtown is wonderful and the restaurants are fabulous.

Fall! The Halloween Parade in town is a blast. Also, once school starts in the fall the New Canaan town pride kicks into high gear… red & black t-shirts and hats all over town!
Three things in New Canaan that you can’t live without:
The Eggs Benedict at Baldanza… actually everything at Baldanza! Angela & her team know how to do it right!
New Canaan Healthfare… Owners Jim & Margaret are extremely knowledgeable.
Elm Street Books – A gem of a store!
What is your favorite kid-friendly recipe?
I sneak a lot of vegetables into every day food. I blend beets and carrots with a little applesauce and use that for the jelly in PB&J’s.
