Summer is almost here and with it comes so many great outdoor activities including theater! So, pack your blanket and wine and grab a boxed dinner from Palmers, Walter Stewarts, Rowayton Market, Brendan’s 101 or a pizza from Rowayton Pizza. Cozy up under the stars in Pinkney Park to watch a magical production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream (set during the Regency period with gorgeous costumes (think Jane Austen)) and beautiful sets inspired by the works of Henri Rosseau.
This show is appropriate for children and is a great first Shakespeare experience. In fact, our apprentices put on a mini version of the play just for kids called the “pre-show” at 6:30pm (also a good way to brush up on the plot for the grownups 😉 ).
