New Canaan Parents 4 Kids is partnering with Latin Moves Dance Studio for Family Dance 2016 to share the joy of dancing with kids and parents of all ages! Mini dance classes in merengue, bachata and salsa complemented by learning about the history of each dance will be followed by music for a family dance party.
“Social dancing teaches so many life skills along with confidence, respect for others, patience and the skill of listening and focusing! ” said Lou Lopez, owner of Latin Moves Dance Studio. ” The kids will love partnering with their parents, siblings or friends . They will also be invited to contribute to a dance inspired community artwork”- added Kremena Doust, NCP4K.
