Celebrate Rowayton town spirit at the annual Memorial Day Parade!
Pick your favorite spot along Rowayton Avenue or McKinley Street and cheer for our veterans, Brien McMahon and Roton School marching bands, our commissioners, volunteer firefighters, Little Leaguers, Scouts and all the many other enthusiastic marchers – even four-footed ones!
After the parade, join fellow residents at Veterans’ Cannon to honor those who died in their service to our country.
Then stroll on over to the Fire House for hot dogs and soda, hosted by local fire-fighters and their families.
Be sure to check out the Rowayton Arts Center’s Annual Art Show, the Historical Society’s Postcard Show in Pinkney Park and sample some of the famous homemade strawberry shortcake, made by Rowayton Methodist Church parishioners.
This event is truly New England and Rowayton at its finest. It’s a perfect kick-off to summer!
