Introducing the New Canaan YMCA Rainbow Station 5’s Pre-K program, beginning this fall! Link in bio for more details.☝️

The Y’s Rainbow Station 5’s Pre-K program is specifically designed for children who would benefit from a year of pre-k support, growth, and preparation before entering kindergarten.

This program combines the fundamental skills and play-based learning style taught throughout the Y’s Rainbow Station preschool program, while incorporating a modified kindergarten schedule led by a state-certified elementary education teacher.

Ages: Participants must be 5 years old by December 31, 2021.

Weekly Schedule: Monday-Friday from 7:30 AM-2:30 PM (afterschool care is available until 6:00 PM through the Y’s Kid’s Unlimited program)

Program Dates: Monday, August 30, 2021-Wednesday, June 15, 2022 (follows New Canaan Public Schools academic calendar)

Participants also enjoy the entire Y facility, including instructional swim lessons, Bouncing Bears, large program spaces, and weekly music and movement classes.
