Started 12 years ago as an eco-friendly salon, Synergy’s owner and New Canaan mom Michele Maestri-Murphy, is a pioneer in bringing this healthy alternative to Fairfield County. She has always had an interest in wellness, and as a young stylist wanted to ensure what her customers and she ingested was as clean as possible. Now, she has a following from health conscious individuals, people who have chemical sensitivities, and pregnant women. Her clients travel from all over Connecticut and New York.
Michele utilizes natural hair colors that do not compromise style or edge. She offers herbal based and less toxic hair color that covers grey 100%, as well as certified organic henna and even custom formulated henna blends. Additional services include certified organic scalp detox treatments with essential oils, and homemade treatments with avocado/mayonnaise, eggs/honey, and citrus/apple cider vinegar.
In the new year, Michele will launch Synergy Organic products sold at her salon which will include wild crafted herbal shampoos, conditioners, scrubs, scalp detox treatments, oils, serums and lip balms, and even organic tea. These are products your whole family will love, and even great for children.
In addition to hair coloring and wellness treatments, Michele and Synergy Salon are focused on hair styling, and provide vogue looks. Hair-cuts, blow dry’s, curls, up do’s, special occasion glamour, and even hair extensions are just some of their specialties.
