The Nutcracker: December 7th, 8th & 9th
New England Academy of Dance and New England Dance Theater proudly presents their 33rd Annual Nutcracker Ballet, Featuring the Norwalk Symphony Orchestra.
NEAD’s full-length production of The Nutcracker flaunts some of the finest sets, costumes and talent in the area.
This production of the Nutcracker showcases dancers from the school and the company, as well as esteemed professionals from New York City.
Held at the premier New Canaan High School auditorium, The Nutcracker brings audiences of all ages together to celebrate dance & holiday tradition.
This year’s full performance dates are:
Fri Dec 7th @ 7:00pm
Sat Dec 8th @ 11:00am Children’s Show (Act II Only- No Party Scene, Mice or Angels)
Sat Dec 8th @ 4:00pm
Sun Dec 9th @ 4:00pm
Full Shows: 2 hours long (including 15 minute intermission)
Children’s Performance: 1 hour long (Interactive Show Act II only)

Sugar Plum Tea Party
December 8th
Join the Sugar Plum Fairy & other characters from the Land of Sweets before or after the Children’s Show. Dance with the characters, decorate a gingerbread cookie, enjoy treats from the Land of Sweets, and take pictures with the Sugar Plum Fairy and her friends.
The Tea will be held at the Wagner Room located in New Canaan High School.
Saturday December 8th at 9:45am – 10:45am
Saturday December 8th at 12:15pm – 1:15pm
The cost is $40 per child. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Advance purchase is required due to limited seating
