This spring, a variety of programs and activities are offered for all ages to reengage, rediscover, and reconnect at the Y. All programs have been adapted in accordance with CDC and State health protocols.

For youth, there are many options for ages 3+, ranging from bouncing bears gymnastics, sports, recreation, wellness, swim lessons and more. The Y also offers adapted, specialized social, recreational, and wellness programs for children, teens, and young adults with special needs. For ages 15+, there are group fitness classes free to members, personal and small group training, pilates apparatus, virtual and in-person chair classes for active older adults, and more.

The New Canaan YMCA also provides its own Virtual Y, a livestreaming and video-on-demand platform for members to participate in live and recorded workouts from home. Members can choose from their favorites including bootcamp, conditioning, cycling, pilates, yoga, and more; with new classes added weekly. Nutritional counseling is also available at the Y and virtually to help individuals find a balance with foods that will provide their body with the nutrients it needs for optimal health.
