A Workshop for Parents of Children in
Kindergarten through Fourth Grade
Presented by Glenda Green, K-4 Reading Coordinator
Come learn:
- what we teach when we teach reading (including an explanation of book levels and different types of texts that are important)
- how we teach reading (the elements of a balanced reading program and how each is delivered)
- why we teach this way (the research behind every decision we make as we deliver our reading program) and
- what are the most important things parents can do to support their children in reading.
We hope you can join us!
We are offering both a morning and an evening session.
