The Young Women’s League of New Canaan (YWL) will hold its spring fundraising event, Couture for a Cause, on Friday, May 5th at 7:30 p.m. at The Loading Dock in Stamford.
YWL members and guests will showcase trends from New Canaan area stores in the annual fashion show while attendees enjoy appetizers, cocktails, a silent auction, and dancing. Presented by New Country Porsche of Greenwich, partygoers will be able to view their latest models.
“The YWL had a record number of grant requests this year, all of them uniquely humbling and heartbreaking”, said President Jill Tobin. “Couture for a Cause is our largest event of the season. Every single dollar raised will make a significant impact on the lives of children in our community.”
Net proceeds from the event will support local children’s charities in our area such as Kids helping Kids and Children’s Connection.
