Waveny House filled with mysterious and glamorous masked partygoers on Friday, October 28 as the Young Women’s League of New Canaan held their inaugural Masked Ball for Children in Need.
Over $22,000 was raised for the League’s 2016-2017 selected charitable recipients:
Kids Helping Kids, a group of volunteer kids (2000 kids from 117 schools) who gain leadership skills by improving the lives of other kids in Fairfield County. The kids develop service projects that will make a difference in the lives of other children.
Human Services Council – Children’s Connection
Children’s Connection works with children and families who have made a disclosure of sexual abuse or severe physical abuse. They aim to provide all services in house, including medical evaluations and ongoing weekly therapy and support services.
