2018 RCA Summer Music Festival Lineup!
The 2018 RCA Summer Music Festival will be back for another 10 concerts! Similar to past summers, the venue location will be split between Bayley Beach and Pinkney Park and start time each week will be 5:30 p.m. There will be a variety of acts covering rock, country, bluegrass, roots, reggae and indie folk. The Fireworks show will take place on Wednesday, July 4th.
2018 Darien's Got Talent Finals Show @ Darien High School
Darien’s Got Talent is back in 2018! The 2016 competition was a huge success – competing acts from Darien, Westport, Norwalk, Stamford, New Canaan and Greenwich included singers, dancers, and musicians that awed both the audience at Darien High School and the panel of judges. And now, the highly anticipated talent competition for all ages, is returning on June 23, 2018.

1st Annual Rowayton Porch Jam
On June 2 (raindate June 3), JAM will be throwing The 1st Annual Rowayton Porch Jam. SIxteen Rowayton homes have generously donated their porches for sixteen bands to play on between 12-4pm. Bands will be staggered over the course of the afternoon. The organizers encourage all participants to walk, bike and scoot to multiple homes throughout the day and soak up the music to benefit a great cause.
Afterschool & Summer Kids Woodworking Class Ages 7-10
A hands on introduction to woodworking for kids! Skills include sanding, drilling with a hand drill, using wood screws, nails and glue. Children will finish the project with stain or paint. Great opportunity to peak interest in this valuable skill!
Meet Jasmine!
Darien mom to two little girls. She and her husband are both from small coastal towns and chose Darien to impart all the great resources and values that small town living brings to their kids. Jasmine is the founder of Merrimane a line of velveteen fleece jackets which will soon be a part of all our kids fall wardrobes!
